It was a beautiful day filled with great memories. Anna Mae was so pretty and so nervous – but she did a great job. We loved having family and friends here to share in all the fun. Now that the kids are all tucked into bed, we restored the house to order, it’s nice to reflect.
The last time I dressed that child up in a white gown and took her to church for a sacrament she was a fiery infant with unbelievable colic. Lots has changed since then – she is still attacking life with stubborn determination, but now she is sanity in the storm of life. She’s my right hand and ready to take over the house at a moment’s notice. She lives up to responsibility of being grandma’s name sake.
One of Cole’s many nicknames for her is “Mary Poppins” because she is “practically perfect in every way.” He might say that with a bit of sarcasm, but he and I both know it’s not far from the truth.
Anna Mae –
My pretty, smart, stubborn girl –
You are a joy to have for a daughter.
That God has trusted me with you – I am honored.
I love you so much and hope you always remember your special day!
Love,
Mom
The pictures are great!! Your note to Anna Mae is “spot on”. It made me smile. She is a treasure.
Thank you so much for including us in her special day.
Aunt Eileen
And that relationship will only grow more beautiful over time, Theresa. Love the pictures and told Eileen I would let you know she sent me here. You have a lovely family.
I remember wearing a white dress like this many years ago. Stopping from SITS!
She looked BEAUTIFUL! I can’t get over how pretty her hair was! You must be proud!
