Is a Happy Mix of
Family Stories, Book Chats, Homemaking & Faithful Living
Our 8busyfeet family:
Tim and I were college sweethearts, but our story traces back through generations of friends. Tim is an engineer, I’m a middle school teacher, and together we are the parents of four busy kids – Cole (10), Anna Mae (9), Truman (7), and Grace (4).
For the first ten years of parenting, I was a full-time mom and fell in love with being a homemaker. Now, I’m on a mission to keep it all in balance – husband, kids, students, cooking, cleaning, volunteering – on the best days I find time for friends, family, reading, gardening – on the worst of days I feel like a taxi driver and aspire to get a shower.
It’s all more fun sharing the journey, a cup of tea, and a good idea with a friend. There’s always another chair we can pull up, enough food to fill the table, and a stack of dish towels to help clean-up, so come on in and hang out for a while…
My two favorite
compliments:
“The problem with Theresa is that she is just too damn bubbly”
“You are the friend I’d call in the middle of the night to hide
the body.”
FAQ:
Yes, I always wanted four kids
Yes, I always use cloth napkins
Yes, I do believe in God, prayers, and miracles
No, I do not expect I will actually ever be on time for anything
ever again
Hi Theresa!
I love your blog, the way that it feels like a visit to your home.
I adore the way you write, and can appreciate how well you write since I’ve taken a few writing courses myself.
One of my favorite posts is your banana bread story and the recipe afterwards. Have you read Diane Mott Davidson’s books? Your story reminds me of her writing style, only happier. (Or should I say “bubblier”!)
I was wondering if you would mind sharing this story (or your personal favorite) as a guest blogger on my blog. I have a guest blogger on Sundays so I can have the day off!
Thanks.
