The foyer is painted- I love it, but….
Now I think that door needs paint– would you paint it brown like the walls
Or red like the dining room?

That looks to be the color that our family room is getting painted this week. I might go with a few shades lighter on that color palette but not red cuz it would really hit you and I don’t think that is the look you are trying to achieve. Love how warm the foyer looks.
Def not brown. Not sure about red, but it does sound FUN. The wall color is very similar to my living room. If I lived in your house and the door was the same color as the walls I would “For sure” walk into it. š I agree with Cindy in this instance. Perhaps a light shade of the wall color.
I say red. It would spunk up the foyer.
