Actually, going to go get some peanuts… I can’t think of anything good to say today – I just HATE this weather! However, living closer to the lake has it’s occasional good points. Today it means that there is less snow here than in other areas of the region. So we are going to pack up Anna and Cole and head to Miller Park to see the out of town game. I spent the better part of the day delivering Truman and Grace to Mom’s so she will babysit. Unfortunetly, it will have to be over night, because there is a lot more snow inland than there is here and I don’t want to fight my way through it tonight.
The kids had a fun play date with a friend that is in school all day and was home for Easter vacation. They were still happy to bundle up and get out in the white stuff for a little fun. Not me– I will be happy eating my peanuts, drinking a beer, watching baseball (even if it’s not my team) and forgetting what is going on outside. It’s worth years of paying taxes on a dome just for that 🙂
