Tim’s dad, Eddie is having some health issues and I want to send out a request for prayers. He has recently been diagnosed with a brain tumor and will start radiation and oral chemo on Monday. He will have to go for seven weeks Monday through Friday.
Tim’s Aunt Eileen attended his most recent appointment and said that the radiation and chemo have a 90% chance of working on this mid stage astrocytoma. They will radiate the tumor and some of the healthy tissue around it. Eddie will have to retrain his brain to do math and clear up his speech.
Beyond prayers, his doctor suggested that he work on SuDuKo puzzles and play games like Scrabble. He is also enjoying reading cards and letters, but having trouble with too much talk on the telephone and typing on the computer.
Thank you to everyone who has asked about him and is keeping him in their prayers. He has been so good to me this past year while my family dealt with a wild pregnancy and I am so sad to see him have to struggle with all this. Eddie is a wonderful Dad and Papa and we are eager to see him regain his heath and strength. I’ll try to keep everyone posted when where is news. Thanks again for the prayers!

I am so sorry to hear about Tim’s dad. You mentioned in an email about him not being well, but I didn’t know what was wrong. I will definately pray for him and for you and Tim as well to be a strength and support for him.
